A senior police officer was martyred and several others injured on Monday morning in a Maoist-planted IED explosion near Fandiguda village, approximately 5 km from Konta in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma district. The blast occurred while officers were inspecting the site of an arson attack reportedly carried out by Maoists late Sunday night.
