Senior Journalist and Executive Editor of NDTV, Ravish Kumar has conferred the ‘Gauri Lankesh Award for Journalism’ in a ceremony held at St. Joseph College in the city. The award was given by Gauri Lankesh memorial trust and was the first award given by the trust which aims to continue it annually. "Indian media is killing democracy.... media is portraying ministers as avatars," Ravish said. He was awarded the 2019 Ramon Magsaysay Award last month.
