A case has been filed against actor Shilpa Shetty, her husband Raj Kundra, and another individual, for allegedly cheating a Mumbai-based businessman of over Rs 60 crore.
The businessman, in his complaint, alleged that he had given them Rs 60.48 crore for business expansion, but they spent it on personal expenses. The case was initially filed at the Juhu Police Station against Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra in connection with cheating and forgery, but was handed over to the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) for further investigation.
