Gig and Platform Service Workers Union (GIPSWU) on Saturday announced a five-hour strike over the recent hike in fuel prices. The strike will run from 12 pm to 5 pm, during which gig workers across India will shut down their apps as part of the protest.
The protest comes after the Centre on Friday raised petrol and diesel prices by Rs 3 per litre
