The University Grants Commission (UGC) has confirmed the National Eligibility Test (NET), State Eligibility Test (SET), State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) as the minimum criteria for the direct recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor for all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).
