South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham, a close ally of US President Donald Trump, has died at the age of 71, his office confirmed on Sunday.
In a statement, the Office of the US Senator said Graham passed away on the evening of Saturday, July 11, following a "brief and sudden illness".
