Violence erupted in the Jafrabad area of northeast Delhi on Sunday evening when two groups of anti and pro-CAA protesters came face to face, leading to heavy stone-pelting and vandalising of vehicles and shops in the area. The police and paramilitary forces managed to restore calm by late evening but the area remained tense. Fifteen people, including six policemen and two camerapersons were reported injured.
