YS Vivekananda Reddy, brother of late chief minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy passed away today morning at his home in Pulivendula due to a cardiac arrest. He was survived with wife Sowbhagya and daughter Veronica. According to the sources, YS Vivekananda Reddy wife Sowbhagya recently went to America and is staying with her daughter. As per the early reports coming in, Reddy was found lying on the ground by a maid who came to the former's residence around 6.20 am and alerted the neighbours and relatives. Born on August 8, 1950 in Pulivendula, Reddy had served as MLA, MLC and MP in undivided Andhra Pradesh. He had graduated from SV agriculture University in Tirupati. Vivekananda Reddy is the younger brother of YS Rajasekhar Reddy. YS Vivekananda Reddy had won as MLA in 1989, 1994 and later in 1999 and 2004, he won from Kadapa parliament segment. He also served as Agriculture minister during Kiran Kumar's regime and later resigned to Congress party and joined YSRCP.
