Polling for the highstakes Gujarat election drew to aclose as a total 68.7% of the 2.22 crore voters exercised their franchise in second phase of assembly polls held on 93 seats in north and central Gujarat on Thursday. Polling was low as the region had recorded 72.64% voter turnout in 2012 elections.
