Close on the heels of the recent incident where a student was brutally murdered in the premises of Ryan International School in Gurgaon, yet another shocking incident from a public school has come to light from the national capital. A Class 1 student was allegedly sexually assaulted by housekeeping staff at the Sant Nirankari Public School in Malviya Nagar.
The incident took place when the student went to washroom and called for the female attendant, who was not present there. The accused Rakesh, however, heard her and went inside the washroom. The accused allegedly touched the student inappropriately. The incident came to light after the scared girl went home and told her parents about it.
The accused has been arrested and remanded in judicial custody.
