Late music composer-singer RD Burman has a chowk named after him in Mumbai, which is close to his residence and was inaugurated by his wife Asha Bhonsle in 2009. He composed his first song when he was 9, which was used by his father SD Burman for 'Funtoosh'. Popularly known as 'Pancham da', today marks his 78th birth anniversary.
