At least 15 people were killed and several others were injured in a firecracker explosion during a religious procession in Punjab's Tarn Taran district on Saturday, said Punjab Police. All injured have been shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. Firecrackers, being carried in a tractor trolley, exploded during the 'nagar kirtan' (religious procession) near Pahu village in Tarn Taran. Earlier there were reports that two persons were killed in the explosion.
