ReITC, Hindalco Industries, Asian Paints, Hero MotoCorp and Maruti Suzuki were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Bajaj Finserv, IndusInd Bank, NTPC, Bajaj Finance and Adani Ports. Among sectors, except Nifty Bank other indices ended in the green. BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices rose over 0.5 percent each.
