Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Tuesday said the Covid-19 vaccine for children is expected to be launched in the country from August. Mansukh Mandaviya gave the information at the BJP Parliamentary party meeting, also attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Last week, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) director Dr Randeep Guleria said the trials of Bharat Biotech's Covaxin on children were underway and the results were expected by September.Currently, Covaxin trials are underway on children aged 2-6 years in Delhi AIIMS.
