The Delhi government has extended the ban on manufacturing, storing, sale, and bursting of firecrackers till 1st January 2023, in continuation of last year's guidelines. The ban was implemented to curb the rising air pollution in the city. This year, the government has also banned the online sale and delivery of firecrackers. Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai took to his Twitter to inform the same.
