The newly-elected Uttar Pradesh Bar Council chairperson Darvesh Yadav was shot dead inside the premises of Agra court allegedly by another advocate on Wednesday.

Yadav, who had assumed the role of UP Bar Council chairperson just two days ago, was attending a welcome ceremony at the court. She was allegedly shot three times.

It is reported that the attacker was Advocate Manish Sharma, who opened three rounds of fire at Yadav, who was inside the chambers of Advocate Arvind Kumar Mishra. As per eyewitnesses, after the attack, Manish Sharma fired a shot at himself.
