The Mumbai Crime Branch has arrested a man in connection with allegedly issuing a bomb blast threat in the city. The accused has been identified as 50-year-old Ashwin Kumar Supra, a native of Bihar.
Supra made the bomb threat using a mobile phone and a SIM card from Noida. During the investigation, the Crime Branch also seized the phone and SIM that were used to issue the threat.
The accused is being brought from Noida to Mumbai and is expected to reach the city with the Crime Branch team by around 10 am today. Once he arrives, investigators will begin questioning him further to determine the real motive behind the threat.
