Gujarat's tally of COVID-19 cases rose to 8,23,833 on  Sunday with 70 more persons testing positive for the infection, the state health department said. With the death of 2 more patients, the fatalities increased to 10,069, it said. The state has in all recorded 2,467 active cases of which 10 are on ventilator support. At the same time, 128 patients were discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of recovered cases in the state to 8,11,297, the department said in a release here. The state's recovery rate stood at 98.48 percent, it said.
