The COVID-19 tally in Gujarat went up to 19,617 on  Saturday after 498 new cases were reported in the state, while the death toll rose to 1,219 as 29 more people succumbed to the infection, the health department said. The state reported recovery of 313 patients which took the number of discharged persons to 13,324, it said. There are total 5,074 active cases in Gujarat. Sixty one of these patients are on ventilator support, it added.
