Indian hockey player Harmanpreet Singh was named among five nominees for the FIH Men's Player of the Year award. Meanwhile, PR Sreejesh and Savita Punia were shortlisted for the best male and female goalkeeper awards for the FIH Hockey Stars Awards 2021-22. Notably, all three, Harmanpreet, Savita and Sreejesh, won the awards last year as well.
