India has reported 498 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, pushing the total number of active cases to 5,364 as of 8:00 AM IST on 6 June 2025. While most of the country continues to manage low daily counts, states like Kerala, Delhi, Maharashtra, and Gujarat are still showing noticeable numbers.
In the same period, 4 more deaths were recorded, bringing the total COVID-related deaths in 2025 to 55.
