India on Thursday added 408 new Covid-19 cases in 24 hours and 568 patients recovered from the disease, according to the latest data by the Union Ministry of Health. India's coronavirus infection tally has risen to 44,670,483, while the active cases have declined to 5,881. The death toll climbed to 5,30,601 with five fatalities reported in 24 hours.
