India has recorded 44,059 new cases of the novel coronavirus since Sunday, health ministry data showed on Monday, taking total infections in the country to 91.3 lakh. With 44,059 new Covid-19 infections in 24 hours, India's total cases rose to 91,39,866 and with 511 new deaths, toll mounted to 1,33,738. Total active cases in India now stands at 4,43,486. Over 85.62 lakh Covid-19 patients have been cured so far with 41,024 new discharges in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said in its latest update.
