The Indian Army on Tuesday successfully test-fired a land attack version of BrahMos supersonic missile from the Andaman and Nicobar islands. The cruise missile that was launched at 10 am today in a "top-attack configuration" successfully hit its target in the Bay of Bengal "with pin-point accuracy", Pune-headquartered Southern Command of the Indian Army said.
