With the Lok Sabha elections drawing to a close, opposition parties stepped up efforts to coordinate their actions for a non-NDA government, with Andhra Pradesh chief minister and TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu playing interlocutor in reaching out to opposition leaders.
The hectic parleys are aimed at ensuring numbers and move fast to stall a Narendra Modi-led government in the event the Lok Sabha polls yield a hung House. Naidu met Congress chief Rahul Gandhi, NCP chief Sharad Pawar and CPI leaders D Raja and G Sudhakar Reddy here before leaving for Lucknow.
