The ruling National Democratic Alliance in Bihar has announced a state-wide shutdown on September 4 between 7am to 12 pm to protest against abuses hurled at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his deceased mother recently. However, essential services, including emergency facilities and rail operations, will remain unaffected during the shutdown.
