The deadlock over registration in the Jawaharlal Nehru University continued.
A day after the Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union (JNUSU) said it would call off agitation if the administration waived the increased hostel fees, it declared on Sunday that the registration boycott for the winter semester would continue after university authorities insisted that students would need to clear the fees before registration and also decided to suspend students for participating in the stir.
