'Pavitra Rishta' actor Priya Marathe died in Mumbai on August 31, 2025. She had been suffering from cancer since last one year. The 38-year-old had acted in many Hindi and Marathi TV shows. Marathe was an Indian stand-up comedian and television actor.
Marathe also played the role of Vidya Bali in Balaji Telefilms' 'Kasamh Se' and was later seen in the first season of 'Comedy Circus'. The actor later played the character of Jyoti Malhotra in the popular daily soap 'Bade Acche Lagte Hain', which aired on Sony TV in April 2012.
