Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a mega congregation of BJP workers in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh today on the occasion of birth anniversary of Jana Sangh co-founder Deendayal Upadhyaya.
"After Independence, it was Congress rule in Madhya Pradesh for a long time. The Congress turned a prosperous state into 'beemaru'. The youths of the state have not seen the deplorable law and order condition during the Congress rule. Congress does not change itself, nor does it let the country change. The Congress opposed Digital India. Today, the entire world is mesmerised with India's UPI. Record digital transactions are taking place in India. The nation is working hard towards prosperity but the Congress wants to take the country back to the 20th century," he added.
