Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh will take the first shot of the COVID-19 vaccine in Punjab once it gets ICMR's approval. Singh made the announcement on Wednesday when he was holding a virtual cabinet meeting. Earlier in November, Haryana minister Anil Vij was administered a trial dose of Bharat Biotech's COVID-19 vaccine.
