Mahant Nritya Gopal Das has been elected as the president and Champat Rai general secretary of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirth Kshetra Trust at its first meeting held at the residence of senior lawyer K Parasaran. Also, Nripendra Misra, former Principal Secretary to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has been appointed as chairman of the committee for taking decisions on the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Swami Govind Dev Giri of Pune was appointed as treasurer of the trust at the meeting.
