In a significant move to boost transparency, the Supreme Court has begun uploading the asset declarations of its sitting judges on the court’s official website.
The asset details of 21 out of its 33 sitting judges are already on its official website, including information on real estate, movable property, gold, shares, and investments held by the judges, their spouses, and joint family members.
The disclosure also includes the assets of all five judges currently in the Collegium. In a press statement, the top court said that the remaining judges' asset details will be uploaded soon.
