As per latest government guidelines, COVID-19 patients "clinically assigned as mild/asymptomatic cases by the treating medical officer" can isolate at home. Patients aged over 60 years with co-morbidities can only be allowed home isolation after proper evaluation by a medical officer. Home isolation is not recommended for patients with immune-compromised status (HIV, transplant, cancer therapy).
