India’s wholesale price index (WPI)-based inflation dropped to 0.85 per cent in April 2025. This comes as prices of food articles, manufactured products, and fuel eased, government data showed on Wednesday. WPI-based inflation was 2.05 per cent in March. It was 1.19 per cent in April last year.
