Delhi based Samy Informatics on Wednesday launched a new 32-inch Android smart TV, priced at Rs.4,999, which could cost a consumer around Rs.7000 after shipping and installation cost Rs. 1200 and a GST of18%.

The main objective behind launching the TV at this lowest price was to provide lower income class families a taste of smart TV. Samy’s TV would be available only online, customer should have to fill-up the form available on its portal and then it would be delivered to them.

Key features of Android TV

Samy SM32-K5500 HD LED TV features a 32-inch HD display with 1366×786 pixels. It comes with an aspect ratio of 16:9 and dynamic ratio of 1000000:1. It has a 512MB of RAM and 4GB of storage for storing apps and content. It runs on Android 4.4 with pre-installed apps such as Facebook and Youtube.

Connectivity options include two HDMI and two USB ports, an audio out port and a video input port. Users also get a USB to play music, watch movies or videos. It includes two 10W speakers, SRS Dolby Digital and a 5 Band Equalizer for better sound quality.
