Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel said that that he was deeply saddened by the Air India passenger plane crash in Ahmedabad. Patel wrote on X that he had directed officials to begin immediate rescue and relief efforts and to ensure that the injured passengers received prompt medical treatment on a war footing.
