A new study warns that internet addicts may experience increased heart rate and BP when they go offline, similar to withdrawal symptoms seen in drug addicts. Researchers, Milan University studied about 144 participants, aged between 18 and 33 years. Results showed average of three to four percent increase in heart rate and blood pressure mirrored by increased feelings of anxiety.
