Dark Mode: The WhatsApp Dark mode will allow users to change the background of the app from white to black which will not strain the eyes as much and also help in saving a lot of battery.

Private Replies: A long-awaited feature, private replies was recently introduced for Android users. This feature is expected to finally reach iOS devices. With this feature, users can privately reply to a person in a group chat.

3D Touch Action: Exclusive to iPhone users, this feature is speculated to let you to secretly read someone's status without intimidating them. The feature is said to be already available to WhatsApp beta users and should be rolled out end users soon enough.

Reverse image search: This feature will be very useful because it can help us to understand if the news is fake: when you receive an image, you can try to search it on the Web using this feature, so you can discover if it’s fake by reading info on the Web related to that image.

Audio Picker: A new update should introduce a revamped audio picker for WhatsApp. This will allow users to play the audio file before sending it to their contacts. Apart from that, all audio and music files stored on your phone will also be listed in the app for you to send and at a time you will be able to send 30 audio files in one go.

WhatsApp in-app browser: The report adds that people who use the in-app browser will be able to hide their search history from Facebook and Whatsapp. According to the report, this new feature was seen on the beta version of WhatsApp’s 2.19.74 update for Android users.

WhatsApp Group Invite: According to reports, now WhatsApp users will not be allowed to add people without their permission in a group. Even group admins will have to ask for your permission before adding you to a WhatsApp group. The feature will be available on the iOS beta version soon.

Latest Emoji’s: The social media giant is going to come up with new emojis soon. These emojis will include transgender male and transgender female symbols along with a pride flag for transgenders. The features have reportedly made their way to WhatsApp Web and WhatsApp Desktop but won’t be visible unless Unicode characters are used in the chat.
